I am so happy as another person has contacted me from my Goss side of my family she lives in Swansea-Wales uk. We are connecting and communicating exellently as not only become friends online but we are hopeing to find our Goss connections matching a little more over time.Lisa is going to talk/visit Lydia Goss who lives in Swansea with the hopes that Lydia is of my heritage..I feel she must be!

This Blog is brand new but I hope many people will add themselves with any’ historic comments’ with regard to Wales in particular! Just think of stories that your family may have told you about the day’s of old. I follow my Ancestors history with quite an extensive interest! I also have a Journal that can be found in the Swansea Archives which contains names, dates, and stories that were found in the newspapers,etc; regarding Kilvey Hill in the days gone by from the families that lived in the cottages that once stood on the summit of Kilvey Hill mainly Goss/ names and a more. my research at present is the time during the 1800’s when my great, great Grandmother owned the Landore Inn. She was Hannah Jenkins, who later married George Truscott. They had a big family all born in the Inn.I should like to hear about any story regarding the old’ Landore Inn ‘that once stood there. If you are interested in these names for your historic knowledge of them, please reply here. Also for the person who enquired about Phillip Trusscot who lived in Port Tennant/and ST Thomas I found that he emmigrated to Australia, just in case you hear about or read this Blog! GLAMORGANSHIRE WALES UK This lineage is very spetacular it will read later how this line survived the ice age.Going back in time 16,000 years! The prominence of this line I would never have known exepting from Phyllis’s mother’s ,family who were born in Devon There is a lot of information later to be added here maps of how this lineage crossed to many many countries going back in time. For anyone who have been thinking about having their little DNA test done I suggest [go for it] as it is a wonderous thing to say the least. I shall add names, dates of birth etc later due to me being offline for a while due to travelling. Phyllis Mary’s mother was EMILY FLORENCE BROCK BEFORE HER MARRIAGE TO HERMON [henry] WILLMETT NOTE HERE THERE ARE ‘TWO’ [FLORRIE’S] AND TWO HENRY’S] ALL OF THE SAME LINKS OF BROCK FAMILIES.– By these names so far the living Brock’s and Willmett’s may know of or have heard of their ancestry due to them being of the same lineage. Hello to my cousins/distant cousins and relations. For anyone who has the surnames shown you are more than welcome to follow my blog at anytime. Although I shall be travelling I shall return here in a couple of months if not before so keep a posting!!I recently had my DNA test ,and was astounded to see how my matrichal line of the Willmett /Brocks were found to have moved constantly around over the hundreds of years being found to have traveled to so many places it is almost [incredably accountable] but not quite thanks to the DNA test I have managed to see the families/ map/ etc throughout the families tracks going as far back as to the ICE AGE!! as I say it is truly incredable and very true..I shall show the map etc when I return back online in a month or so…Anyhow just for now here are the beginnings of some names in my Matriachal side. Fistly, BROCK FAMILY- MILTON DAMEREL DEVON; UK. I shall be helping voluntary with community work in Oystermouth next year, and am able to perform small tasks and help around the household if needed.
